Where are you located on the River Walk?

Casa Rio is conveniently nestled between the Hilton Palacio Del Rio Hotel and Commerce Street, across from the Torch of Friendship. If you’re lost, just look for the colorful umbrellas!

Do you take reservations?

No, we do not take reservations. We seat everyone on a “first come, first served” basis. We are experienced in seating groups and will do our best to seat you as quickly as possible. You may wait in our waiting area or get a drink in our Veranda Bar (opened seasonally) while you wait for a text message that your table is ready.

What about parking?

Casa Rio has a small lot located at 109 W. Market Street and is open daily. The cost is $15. The next closest lot is Riverbend Parking Garage located on the same block as Casa Rio at the corner of Commerce Street and Presa Street. Please see their website for pricing information.

Do you have gluten-free options?

If you are in need of a gluten-free option please ask your server for a Gluten-Free / Allergen Menu. When you place your order, please ask to speak with a manager so we can ensure the kitchen gets your meal just right!

Are Mariachis available at Casa Rio?

A group of mariachis, which is not employed by Casa Rio, is typically around while the restaurant is open. Their services are charged per song, and you are not obligated to ask them to play for your group.

Do you allow smoking outside?

According to a new law unanimously passed by City Council, it is illegal to smoke – or use any tobacco product – in all City parks and public plazas, which includes the River Walk beginning on June 1, 2019

Do you allow pets outside?

Yes, we welcome your furry friends to join you on the patio and River Walk seating. Please keep in mind that all animals must be restrained on a leash.

Is there a Dog Park close by?
